Day #4905 (Sun., June 11, 2023) – Ethan, Michael, & Lucia
I thought I would take the opportunity in today’s post to show the Goya “Maria Cookies” that Bobby likes so much (see photo to the right). I picked up FOUR packs of them at Aldi yesterday so we won’t run out. He likes to dunk them in his milk.
Today was supposed to be a relatively quiet day, but it proved to be anything but. The kids had three play dates today!
The first play date was Bobby and Ethan. They met at the park and my wife took him. Ethan is a vegetarian and my wife got a chance to talk to his mom about what he eats. She said he likes rice and beans and they have a lot of quesadillas. I think I will add this to the “cooking tutorials” I’m going to give the kids. One more “recipe” to add to the book.
Next up was Katie’s “play date” with Michael. Michael is in her orchestra class and asked her to come over to his place this afternoon to play. I took her, and she brought her viola. My wife picked her up in a couple of hours.
Next up was Bobby’s play date with Lucia. He was there for a couple of hours as well. I guess Lucia is known for having great snacks, and when I pressed Bobby about it he said his favorite was Klondike bars.
