Day #4906 (Mon., June 12, 2023) – Ants On A Stick

This morning the kids showed my wife and I a presentation they had done on Vancouver Island.  They presented it on the television in the living room.  It detailed how Vancouver Island was explored developed, and highlighted the explorers Captain Cook and George Vancouver.  Very well done.

For the first recipe of our cook book I created “Ants On A Stick”.  A very simple process actually, just some peanut butter on celery, with raisins on top, but both kids liked them.  Next time I need to remember to pull the little strands of celery off the side so that it is easier to eat.

This afternoon I took the kids to horseback riding lessons.  The flies were all over the barn again, and even in the riding area.  Katie got to ride Sky, and Bobby rode Buddy.  I took the van as the kids really like to ride in air conditioned comfort.

I dropped my Camry off at Lloyd’s Tire this evening to hopefully fix the air conditioning.
