Day #353 (Wed., Dec. 22, 2010) – Little Katie’s Engagement Calendar
My sister sent us an email this afternoon. One of her friends has a granddaughter a bit older than little Katie. She was saying that we should have a little party so the two little girls can meet each other. Looks like little Katie’s engagement calendar is gradually filling up.
My wife took little Katie to the doctor this afternoon. She has a runny nose and has been pulling her ears. The doctor gave her a clear bill of health. Her lungs are clear and her ears too. The doctor said to make sure that little Katie is sucking onto something when the plane is landing so that the pressure in her ears will release easily.
Take a look at the pull toy in the photo to the right. Little Katie loves it! you pull this string and it will roll across the playyard with a “clicking” and “clacking” sound. I tried to show little Katie how it works, and she pulled it for a bit…but the string eventually ended up in her mouth (a great sucking accessory).
Hard to believe that in a couple of days we will be in Canada. It will be nice to have a bit of a vacation…my wife and I have been working so hard and taking care of our little chipmunk as of late. Let’s see if little Katie will cooperate in our desire for a vacation… 🙂
