Day #4921 (Tue., June 27, 2023) – Flight Of The Bumblebee
This morning I gave Bobby the Batman car that I picked up at the Dollar Store the other day (see photo to the right). I was thinking that it would be perfect for the Hot Wheels track that we bought for Bobby at Walmart a while back. Unfortunately, it was too tall to fit into the area that pushed the cars through the track.
I dropped the kids off at viola/violin camp at 10 am this morning, and then went to Harris-Teeter for a few supplies. I was able to pick up some vegan bacon and vegan turkey meat. Let’s see if these meet with the kids approval.
I picked the kids up at viola/violin camp at 1:30 pm this afternoon. Things went well for our kids, but apparently Rosie and Katie (not our Katie) were crying as they could not get some of their pieces correct.
My wife gave the kids a vegan bacon sandwich this afternoon. Bobby said it was okay but Katie didn’t like it…
My wife took Bobby to Clark Pool later this afternoon. Katie didn’t want to go. Apparently there were no thieves there today.
This evening Bobby showed us on his violin what he’s been up to at viola/violin camp. When I asked him if he could play “Flight of the Bumblebee” he asked, “What’s that?”, which led us to watch a series of YouTube performances of the piece.
