Day #4943 (Wed., July 19, 2023) – Rocky Mount Tornado
I took the kids to the dentist this morning. It started to rain like crazy as soon as we got inside, but fortunately it stopped raining just before we left.
When we arrived home Maple met us at the door with one of Bobby’s Lego cars in her teeth. She dropped it and it broke into many tiny pieces. Bobby was very upset, but my wife helped Bobby put it back together again. Maple will often meet us with a “gift”, but it’s more often a shoe than anything else.
I was going to take Bobby to his free Karate class this evening but the boy he knows, Owen, was sick, so we opted out to when he will be going as well.
Katie and I have been utilizing Bard & Chat GPT to come up with a good novel for her to write.
There was a tornado in Rocky Mount this afternoon. It took the roof off a Pfizer plant there.
I received my new iPhone today. It was a replacement for my Android phone that the sound stopped working on the other day. Strange as it may sound, it started working again a few days later when I was in the “Elemental” movie with Bobby. Go figure… I’m glad I had my wife to try and fix the sound on it as well or I would have thought I had missed something.
Katie has been taking Batman to her room as of late (see photo to the right).
