Day #4957 (Wed., Aug. 2, 2023) – Karate Class
I dropped Bobby off at the Planetarium to attend “Cosmic Camp” this morning at 8:30 am. We went early as he wanted to spend some time talking and playing with his new friends, Luke & Sebastian.
When I asked Bobby what he did at “Cosmic Camp” today he said that they cleaned up an oil spill. An experiment actually, with water and vegetable oil.
Bobby had his Karate class at 5 pm today. I was going to take him, but my back is still bothering me from the workout I did the other day, so my wife took him. Katie tagged along as well. Bobby has great form (see photo to the right). Katie tagged along as well. Katie told me that she saw her classmate Henry, who has a black belt.
Bobby had a good question this evening. Why is the depiction of a heart red in a certain shape when an actual heart is not that shape. As it turns out, the history of this is not exactly clear. It appears that this symbol has evolved over times.
