Day #4960 (Sat., Aug. 5, 2023) – Air Fryer French Toast
Bobby had a playdate with Ethan this afternoon. I drove him over to Ethan’s house with scooter in the back of my 1995 Camry. Apparently they argued for the first hour or so as Bobby wanted to take the scooter to the nearby Church parking lot but Ethan wanted to stay at home. Ethan felt that it was too hot outside to play. My wife picked them up at 4 pm this afternoon.
After dropping Bobby off at Ethan’s I went to Walmart for some supplies. I picked up a large box of the “Great Value” Z Bar substitutes since Bobby liked the smaller pack that I got. I also picked up some broccoli cheddar soup, like she had at Panera Bread last weekend. I also checked out he mandarins, but like my wife said, a lot of them this year are rotten… Not sure what’s up with that? Perhaps refrigeration issues during transport?
This afternoon I showed Katie how to make French toast in the air fryer (see photo to the left). She loved it. I even made one for Bobby once he got home from Ethan’s place. That’s after he had some of the rice/black bean/corn combo that I made in the Instant Pot.
This evening Katie and I watched this video on a mansion in Palm Beach. What would one ever do with a house that big?
