Day #4964 (Wed., Aug. 9, 2023) – Wet & Wild!
My wife took the kids to “Wet & Wild” in Greensboro today. I asked Bobby this evening what he enjoyed the most about it, and he said the wave pool. He and my wife took what some think is the scariest ride at the park, “The Edge” (see photo to the right). Katie was not interested in going on this ride so she took the video.
While the family was away I organized boxes in the living room. I threw out a lot, and organized what is left. I found an old car model kit that needs glue (cement) to assemble. Remember those from the 60’s? I left it out…maybe Bobby wants to assemble it with me.
We are out of milk this evening. This in spite of the fact that I have 2 gallons in the fridge now. If we had a bigger fridge I would have 3 gallons in the fridge as the kids drink so much of it. Especially Bobby who has milk with every meal. Both the kids love their cereal in the morning.
Katie still loves to go out onto the swing in the front yard. She will even go on it when it’s dark outside in the evening. We keep warning her to watch out for copperheads.
