Day #4976 (Mon., Aug. 21, 2023) – Katie Get’s Braces!
I have a skin tag under my arm that is causing me quite the bit of discomfort when I sleep. I will need to get the doctor to remove it. I never used to have these when I was young…they say that it is a sign of getting old… 🙂
Our neighbors came back last night. They gave Bobby $250 for taking care of their chickens and Ginger. This will go right on his $500 Roblox bill. If they give him the same amount next time, he will be “Roblox Debt Free”!
I took Bobby to see the movie “Blue Beatle” at the AMC Durham theatre this afternoon for Daddy/Son Day #69 (see photo to the left). They have fixed it up and renovated it since I lived in the area way back in 1996. We sat at the back, and two other people were in the theatre. A nurse, who is working here for extra money, gave us the tickets and handed Bobby his combo kid’s meal.
Katie got her braces this afternoon! She will need surgery in December to fix an issue where a tooth is growing up, rather than down. She was in quite a bit of pain this evening, and Batman’s meows of “Come Comfort Me” were not very welcome.
My new DELL computer arrived this afternoon and I hooked it up this evening. It worked pretty much out of the box. Quite the deal for only $187 (without tax).
