Day #4979 (Thu., Aug. 24, 2023) – Meeting Teachers
My wife took Katie to Phillips to see her teachers this afternoon. Katie’s creative writing teacher gave her a hug she was so excited to see her. Her orchestra teacher gave her a hug and said that she was glad she was returning for another year. I guess one of the viola’s dropped out, and they no longer have a bass player. Dexter (the former Sophie) played bass last year.
While they were away I made Bobby dinner. He wanted a PB&J sandwich with milk, and after finishing that, another one. He also had a slice of cheese pizza that I made for Katie when she returned.
Once my wife got back and dropped Katie off she was off with Bobby to visit Glenwood and Bobby’s teacher. This year Bobby is in grade 3 and his classroom is in a trailer near the drop off location (see photo to the right). Mrs. Hatley will be his teacher this year. I guess the trailer is not very well ventilated so people who are worried about the new strains of COVID are freaking out.
Trump showed up at the jail in Fulton County and had his mugshot taken this evening. We watched the “live” event via YouTube on the television in the living room.
