Day #4990 (Mon., Sept. 4, 2023) – Artsy Haven!

Happy Labor Day!

My wife took Bobby to the pool this afternoon.  Ethan was there, and this will be the last day the Clark Pool will be open for this year.  The kids could always go to Homestead to swim, but that’s a different experience entirely, and not free!

While they were away Katie and I talked about setting up her Etsy channel to sell her art.  We were brainstorming various good names for a YouTube channel, and with Bard’s help, we came up with “Artsy Haven”.  We then asked Bard: “when I give you the words ‘artsy haven’ what do you think?”.

Bard replied:

When I hear the words “artsy haven,” I think of a warm and inviting space where people can come to be inspired and create art. It could be a physical space, such as a studio or gallery, or it could be a virtual space, such as a YouTube channel or online community. I think the name “artsy haven” is a great choice for a YouTube channel that highlights your artwork. It is short, memorable, and relevant to your content. It also conveys a sense of warmth, creativity, and inspiration.

Here are some specific ideas for videos that you could create on your YouTube channel called “Artsy Haven”:
  • Tutorials on how to create different types of art
  • Behind-the-scenes looks at your creative process
  • Interviews with other artists
  • Reviews of art supplies and equipment
  • Inspirational videos about art and creativity

My wife took both Katie and Bobby horseback riding this afternoon.  I stayed home and made some Minestrone Soup (see photo to the right).
