Day #4997 (Mon., Sept. 11, 2023) – Cane’s Storefront

Today is the “911 Anniversary”.  My oh my how time flies!

My wife took both kids to the doctor this morning.  Bobby has an ear infection and nobody seems sure what virus or “whatever” Katie has.

I took a drive around town and see that they are working on the storefront of Cane’s (see photo to the right) on Franklin Street.  I guess it will be opening soon.  Whenever we pass by it Bobby and I often remark how long it is taking them to make the repairs and get the doors open for business.

This evening I told Katie was Mo Gawdat said on a YouTube video I watched.  He said that in the face of AI taking all our jobs, we need to be “special”.  For instance, everyone will want to see Taylor Swift no matter how many songs or videos AI can generate, people will always pay to see Taylor Swift in person.

As Bobby was wrapped in my burrito blanket on the living room floor this evening listening to his violin practice tapes I told him that he is destined for greatness.  He laughed…
