Day #5000 (Thu., Sept. 14, 2023) – Apple Crunch Fun Lunch
Today is Day #5000 of the blog. Hard to believe from one simple little post 13 years ago this blog has progressed to comprise all this content over this many days!
My wife took Katie to the orthodontist to get her braces fixed. One of the wires was loose, but there were other adjustments needed as well. An appointment that was supposed to take 10 minutes ended up being an hour. Katie was so exhausted after the experience she went right to bed as soon as she got home.
Katie has expressed a desire to learn French again. It will be able to utilize it on our next trip to Canada.
I picked up Bobby at the bus stop today. He had about an hour to eat and get ready for martial arts class this evening. He told me that he had “Apple Crunch Fun Lunch” at school today, which is apples, almond butter, and granola.
I filmed Bobby at martial arts class this evening as we find it helpful to help him learn the various blocks, kicks, and forms. He got a chance to break a board towards the end of the class today and I caught that on video as well. We went to Yopop for a treat after martial arts class. I picked up some Yopop for Katie as well. You can see both selections in the photo to the right, with Bobby’s having some Oreo cookies thrown into the mix.
