Day #5005 (Tue., Sept. 19, 2023) – Little Bear & Scooby Doo Nostalgia

Bobby is very excited about his new scooter, which, if all goes well, will come tomorrow.  He was asking how long it would take to charge and the like.  When he learned that it will take about 24 hours to charge he asked if we could take it out after martial arts class on Thursday.

My wife and I went to Walgreens this morning to get our COVID shots.  On the way I happened to see the figurines on the shelf (see photo to the right).  How romantic… 🙂

I picked up Katie after school today. We decided to go to the Starbucks drive thru on MLK for a coffee for Daddy/Daughter Chat Day #3. We drove around talking about the “Law of Attraction” and looking for coins. Katie got the pumpkin latte (yes it is that time of year) and I had an Americano with soy milk and one sugar.

When we got home there was a bit of nostalgia when we watched “Little Bear – Goblin Night” and “Scooby Doo – Ghost Rig” on YouTube and Netflix. These were two Halloween shows that Katie watched when she was younger.

I drove to Spence’s Farm at 5:30 pm to pick Bobby up. He was playing hide & seek when I arrived. I packaged up two slices of pizza and a Capisun for him to enjoy on the drive home. He told me that he told Lucia about the motorized scooter he was getting and she was jealous of that.

My wife went to Katie’s school this evening to attend a PTA meeting. Not one-on-one this time, but a presentation.
