Day #5023 (Sat., Oct. 7, 2023) – Homestead Soccer
Katie is not feeling well this morning so my wife took Bobby to group violin class by himself.
This afternoon my wife and I took Bobby to soccer practice at the Homestead Field, near the kid’s former preschool. Ethan is on Bobby’s team this year and you can see them in the photo to the right, pointed out by yellow arrows.
This afternoon the family finished off the “Karate Kid” movie that we started to watch last week. A mid-80s movie, but a classic for sure. Hopefully Bobby will learn some lessons from the movie that he can take to his martial arts class with him.
News broke this afternoon that Hamas has launched an offensive into Israel.
I was thinking I might go to Panera Bread for a coffee this afternoon, but there is a UNC football game in town and I’m not going anywhere near that traffic.
Tinsley asked Katie about the upcoming middle school dance today, so they are going together.
In addition, Cecily talks to Katie almost every day by phone these days.
