Day #5024 (Sun., Oct. 8, 2023) – Alice Halloween
Construction at the corner of Estes & MLK is coming along nicely (see photo to the right).
The van won’t start, so the Camry will be our mode of transportation today. We will have to drop the van off at Lloyd’s tomorrow to see what’s wrong with it.
Katie is going with Tinsley and her friends “Trick or Treating” this year. She was initially going to be Barbie, but they decided that they would go as a group as characters from Alice in Wonderland. When Michael, who didn’t want to be the Mad Hatter, declined, Katie, who was going to be the caterpillar, took his spot. So, Katie will be the “Mad Hatter” this year.
News coverage of the Hamas invasion of Israel was all over the news today.
Lucia’s dad stopped off at our house to pick up Bobby and take the kids to the Science Museum in Durham. He forgot to drop Bobby off on the way home, so my wife took the Camry to go pick him up at Lucia’s house.
