Day #5040 (Tue., Oct. 24, 2023) – The Much “Maligned” Camry

As you will recall from yesterday’s post, AAA towed the van to Lloyd’s Tire last night and left it, so we only have one car this morning to take the kids to school. My wife used the Camry to drop Bobby off at Glenwood, and then Katie at Phillips.

So, since we don’t have a van, I picked up Katie in the reliable but much “Maligned” Camry. Katie was so happy… NOT. It was made in 1995, which is almost 30 years ago, but if you look past the tired paint job you will see a real workhorse for the family!

Lloyd’s called up later in the day and said that the issue with the van was the starter. Since they don’t have a mechanic right now, the guy at the desk put the starter in by himself.

We did get the van back later this afternoon, so my wife was able to take some of the towels and bed sheets that we are getting rid off to donate (see photo to the right) when she picked up Bobby at Spence’s Farm. There is no sign of his rainbow water bottle… I wonder where it ended up?
