Day #5052 (Sun., Nov. 5, 2023) – More Ice Skating…
At ice skating lessons yesterday the instructors mentioned that it would be good for the students to get as much ice time in as possible, so Katie and Bobby heeded their advice and went to the public skate out in Hillsborough this afternoon. Ethan’s dad dropped him off at our house so that he could come as well.
I’m not feeling the best, so I didn’t join them. I thought I might feel really bad as the the day progressed, so I decided to go get groceries at Aldi this morning just in case. While there I met Dzenen. He told me that he shops at either Aldi or Trader Joe’s.
While at Aldi I picked up a doggie treat advent calendar for Maple, a chocolate advent calendar for my wife, and and coffee advent calendar for myself. We still have to decide about what kind of advent calendar we will be getting for the kids this year.
Bobby and Ethan spent a lot of time skating but Katie got bored after a bit. Both kids are getting better and better at skating (see photo to the right). My wife dropped Ethan off at his house before heading home.
Katie has been taking Batman to her room quite a bit lately. He’s become very attached to this event and will often meow when I’m watching the evening news. I will then use Alexa to call Katie’s Dot and let her know. She will then come out and either feed him or take him to her room, or both.
