Day #5059 (Sun., Nov. 12, 2023) – Skating + Swimming
My wife took Bobby to Hillsborough this afternoon so that he could go ice skating. Katie was not interested in joining them.
Unfortunately Ethan is in West Virginia, and without his buddy to accompany him, Bobby soon lost interest in skating. After a few minutes of skating he wanted to go to the pool, so my wife took him there next. He enjoyed swimming much more, and this lasted much longer than a few minutes.
I picked up some Coconut Fruit Bars at Aldi (see photo to the right) the other day as I thought the kids would like them. Katie HATED them. In fact she said that she thought she would throw up. I’m not sure what Bobby thinks of them, but I think they are rather tasty. Having said that, I love coconut almost anything! I definitely could have survived on Gilligan’s Island!
We dropped the Camry off at Lloyd’s tonight. It needs an inspection, oil change, and fixes to the windshield wiper fluid device and the heater. Let’s see what the damage $$$ wise is going to be… My $2000 Camry is gradually getting more expensive with $1000 bills around the corner every day…
