Day #5062 (Wed., Nov. 15, 2023) – Camry Heater Switch
We picked the Camry up from Lloyd’s this afternoon. They didn’t have the proper part for the heater switch as the car is so old, but they did manage to hook up a “contraption” to switch the heater on and off (see photo to the right). Basically, it is a wire (could be a coat hanger wire) that you pull out to turn the heater on, and push back in to turn the air conditioner on. Not very pretty, but it does work.
We decided to talk to the social worker and nurse at Glenwood to determine why they are pestering us about Bobby’s school attendance. I suspect that there is some form or some “higher up” that is putting a “todo” on their list to talk to us about it.
I picked up Katie at Phillips this afternoon. On the drive back home she told me how her friend Lilly was thinking of joining the orchestra so that they could both play viola together.
I picked up Bobby at Spence’s Farm this evening. It was dark when I arrived at 5:45 pm, and he wanted to play for another 15 minutes, so it was quite dark by the time we got home.
Bobby’s leg is still bothering him a bit, so we decided to just let him work off his strain in hopes that he will be ready for the Form 2 test on Friday.
My wife gave Bobby a weighted blanket and he loves it. Katie hated it so it has been in my wife’s closet for quite a while.
