Day #5072 (Sat., Nov. 25, 2023) – Peanuts Tree
Viola and Violin practice, along with skating lessons, have been cancelled today due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Although I’m not 100%, I went to Aldi this morning as we are out of milk & bread. I also picked him up a hamburger thinking he would want that for lunch, but he opted for his ole’ reliable tuna sandwich instead.
My wife and Katie went to the Southpoint Mall Christmas shopping this afternoon. They picked up Chick-Fil-A for Bobby and I while they were there.
When they got home, Katie made a replica of the “Peanuts Tree” to put on my desk (see photo to the right).
While at Aldi this morning I picked up some “Lifesavers” candies in the little Christmas box like we used to have as kids. This one I got today was all “5 Flavors”. The boxes that were available when I was growing up had ten different rolls, and each was a different flavor. I remember spearmint, peppermint, butterscotch, and of course “5 Flavors”.
