Day #5080 (Sun., Dec. 3, 2023) – Ayra’s Birthday Party
It’s Day #2 of the Advent Calendar. Bobby received a 4×4 Rubik Cube and Katie got a gold-plated necklace. My coffee flavor for today was “Sugar Cookie”.
My wife took Bobby to Ayra’s Birthday Party at a rope course this afternoon. Unfortunately Bobby was too big for the kiddie course they rented, so my wife paid for Bobby and her to do the adult course (see photo to the right).
We got an email that the basketball hoop that has been a fixture in our community at the end of the road was accidentally destroyed by a moving truck. Someone chimed in that they would call the city and they would send a truck to remove it.
My wife got a call at 5:30 pm that a prescription for Katie was ready at Walgreens. I had to rush down and pick it up before Katie’s surgery tomorrow.
Batman apparently killed a squirrel and dragged it into our basement. The remains were in the tub. I had to go remove it and “deal with it” as they ladies preferred not too and Bobby was asleep. Not sure if Bobby would have wanted to deal with it either.
