Day #5092 (Fri., Dec. 15, 2023) – Gator Puppet
Bobby is still sick so he stayed home from school today. Too bad, he will miss the party his class is having as this is the last day of school before break.
My wife took Katie to the orthodontist this morning. She was not feeling well when she got back home, and actually went to bed. It’s good that the orthodontist gave her an excused absence to use for the entire day. She missed her last day of school before the break as well.
Dzenen had to fly home to Bosnia as he father passed away suddenly. Arnesa is not feeling well either. We extended an offer for her and the kids to come over to our house and rest up, but she declined. Some friends are coming to visit her this weekend. The kids would have had a blast over at our house playing with Katie and Bobby.
I went to Aldi this afternoon for groceries. We were out of milk (surprise, surprise). I picked up some more treats for the Advent Calendars for the kids.
Bobby made a “Gator Puppet” this afternoon (see photo to the right). He saw someone make one on YouTube and thought that the would try.
