Day #5106 (Fri., Dec. 29, 2023) – Sparring Class!
My wife took the kids to viola/violin class this morning. Katie had a double viola class, while Bobby is still not feeling the best so he had only one. They have missed so many classes due to sickness we are in a mad scramble to make them up.
This evening I took Bobby to sparring class at the martial arts dojo. It took a while to get all his sparring equipment on. I told him that if he got too tired during the class to let me know and we would go home. He stayed the whole class and worked hard throughout. He even knocked the paddle out of Master Charlie’s hand (see photo to the right) at one point.
On the drive home I told Bobby that they had a class tomorrow morning if he felt up to it, but not to worry about it now. He was exhausted and it’s important that he rests up tonight before even thinking of going tomorrow.
Katie asked me if there was a football game on tonight. Not tonight, but there is one tomorrow night, and she seemed eager to join me when it’s on.
Katie asked me to get some more of the Strawberry Ice Cream Mochi at Aldi when I go shopping. Bobby also wants some Pringles.
Batman has been enjoying the cat tree as of late. We try not to draw attention to him when Maple is around.
