Day #5109 (Mon., Jan. 1, 2024) – Happy New Years!
Welcome to 2024 everyone! Let’s hope that 2024 is the year of world peace!
When I woke up this morning Bobby asked me to fix his Rubik’s Cube. I did. I’m not sure why he doesn’t want me to teach him the steps so that he can solve it himself.
I made Bobby a “Roti Rollup” for lunch today. Remember those? The kids were really into them a while back. Peanut butter, jam, and Nutella wrapped up into a tortilla.
Bobby also went around the house trying out keys that we had lying around to see which key worked in which lock.
Katie was doing her best “Emma Chamberlain” impression this afternoon, lounging around in bed, and of course on her iPhone.
Bobby caught up on a lot of his Chinese and math homework today.
The kids enjoyed playing the card game “Anomia” this afternoon (see photo to the left). Our neighbor Meredith gave it to us for Christmas.
Katie is upset with her friend Michael. I guess he’s been telling his friends that Katie is gay. I told Katie that middle school boys are usually the worst example of human kind possible.
