Day #5110 (Tue., Jan. 2, 2024) – Diecast Bugatti
My wife took the kids to their viola/violin class this morning. While they were away, daddy went for an allergy shot, and then to Walgreens for a COVID booster. While at Walgreens I picked up a diecast Bugatti (see photo to the right) for Bobby to add to his diecast model collection.
Next up was Aldi. I picked up some Pringles for Bobby and some snacks for his school lunch as well. I also picked up some tortilla chips for Katie.
Since it was a successful visit to go to Walgreens this morning for a COVID booster shot for me, my wife went there this afternoon as well. She got her booster shot as well!
This afternoon I had Daddy/Daughter Day #139. We went to Starbucks off MLK for a coffee. We then toured around the “rich homes” across from Chapel Hill East High School, and then to the “rich homes” near Eastwood Lake as well.
Bobby had a bath this afternoon. His mother made him, and after he gets into the tub, it’s hard to get him out of it. I remember the times when he would ask to take a bath…because of all his “toys” he had there.
Bobby expressed his desire for his mother to drive him to Glenwood tomorrow. This means that he will be able to take Maple in the van, and listen to his favorite music as well. My wife will have a busy morning as she will take Bobby to school, then come back to take Katie to school, and then off to the dentist for an appointment. Daddy will get to sleep in… 🙂
