Day #5111 (Wed., Jan. 3, 2024) – Aluminum Minecraft Man
Bobby wanted his mother to take him to Glenwood this morning so they could take Maple in the van and he could listen to songs on the CD player. My wife then came back home to take Katie to school, then to the dentist where she learned she needs a root canal. Daddy had the morning off and slept in…
I picked up Katie this afternoon as my wife came down with a high temperature and went to bed for a nap. I’m quite tired as well, and my arm is really sore since the COVID booster. I think she hit my muscle and with such a sore arm I have not been sleeping well.
I picked up Bobby at Spence’s Farm this evening. They have started to make a bon fire in the meeting area due to the cold winter nights. My wife put a pizza and milk for Bobby in the car so he could enjoy them on the ride home. He told me that Katie, the girl who used to sit at his table at Glenwood, got an iPhone for Christmas. He also told me that he had a cheeseburger for lunch.
I asked Katie if she wanted me to pick her up an ice cream cake for her birthday tomorrow, and she said she wanted a strawberry one. Cookies and cream was the other option.
This evening Bobby showed me the Minecraft man that he made out of aluminum foil (see photo to the left). He told me that it took a few days to get it just right.
