Day #5114 (Sat., Jan. 6, 2024) – Ice Skating Lessons
It was a very rainy day today. We managed to escape the big snowstorm that they are getting just north of us.
We took the kids to the Hillsborough Skating Rink this afternoon for ice skating class. Leah, Katie’s classmate, signed up for the class and was there as well. They learned to skate in a circle (see photo to the right) and push off with their skates. Bobby strained his leg muscle at one point and sat out for a spell.
When we got home my wife, Bobby, and I were tired, so we all went to bed for a nap. Perhaps this rainy weather got to us today… Katie stayed up and group chatted with her friends for most of the afternoon.
Lucia is planning on coming over tomorrow afternoon for a playdate with Bobby. Bobby is very excited about this.
