Day #5116 (Mon., Jan. 8, 2024) – Harris Teeter Flowers & Vase
I dropped Bobby off at Glenwood this morning and then went to get my allergy shot. He likes to go to school early these days as this gives him more time to play on the computer before classes start for the day.
Katie was not feeling well so she stayed at home. While I was out getting groceries this afternoon my wife texted me about getting some flowers for the mantel. At Harris-Teeter, most of them were around $50, but there was this one little vase with some flowers for under $20 (see photo to the right). Katie replied that she liked it, so this is the one we got.
My wife picked Bobby up at Glenwood this afternoon so that she could take him to the doctor to get his blood work done. This evening I asked him what color his blood was, and he replied “orange”. I told him that this was the problem, to cut out orange juice and add more tomato juice to his diet. Problem solved!
They are expecting wintery weather so schools are closing early tomorrow. Bobby is very excited about that… 🙂
