Day #5119 (Thu., Jan. 11, 2024) – Waiting For Slime!
I dropped Bobby off at Glenwood this morning and then went to get my allergy shot. Before I dropped him off Bobby said that he was not feeling well. I asked him if he wanted me to take him home. I suggested that he give it a try and if he felt ill just give me a call and I would come and pick him up. So, I dropped him off, and that was it… I picked him up at the bus stop later in the day.
Katie felt well enough to go to school today as well. She received a text message from Cecily saying that she was willing to be friends again, Katie and I talked a bit about that. I suggested she not get drawn in to Cecily’s little games.
I made Bobby a couple of tuna fish sandwiches this evening, and within the hour we were at martial arts class. Master Charlie lead the first part of the class, and did he ever give the kids a workout (see photo to the left). Carmen, the little girl who just received her “unconfirmed” black belt, arrived for her class as Bobby’s class was ending.
Bobby was excited to go home after class as the slime we ordered from Amazon arrived just before we left for class.
