Day #5122 (Sun., Jan. 14, 2024) – Escape Room Birthday
Bobby has a new STEM teacher at Glenwood. In their latest class they talked about “Neuro-networks”, which Bobby loved.
Bobby wants to go back to Cane’s (he likes the sauce).
I dropped Katie off at the “Mission X Escape Room” in Durham (near Sam’s Club) this afternoon for a birthday party of one of her classmates. I then picked her up at Alfredo’s Pizza in Chapel Hill later this evening. The necklace for her birthday present came while she was away, so I took it with me to Alfredo’s, but Katie opted to give it to her later.
Bobby tagged along in the van while I dropped Katie off, and we stopped off at Duck Donuts afterwards for Daddy/Son Chat Day #7. Bobby opted for another “Cookies & Cream” donut (his favorite), and some hot chocolate with whipped cream (see photo to the right). We got to chatting about money and I asked him what he would do if he had a million dollars. I was happily surprised when he said he would buy a modest car, and a modest house, and save the rest. Good boy!
