Day #5130 (Mon., Jan. 22, 2024) – Ethan & Evan

The photo to the left shows one of the art exhibits at the Ackland Museum yesterday.

On the drive to Glenwood this morning Bobby and I talked about the rear window defroster and how it works to keep ice off your rear wind screen.

I picked Bobby up at the bus stop at 3 pm this afternoon. Ethan and Evan, who are in Bobby’s class at Glenwood, went by in a pickup truck as we got into the car. Bobby tells me that their English is not very good (they are Chinese), and one is in his class and the other is in another class. They apparently look so much alike that only the fact that they each wear a different coat delineates one from the other.

My wife took Katie to the orthodontist this afternoon for her monthly “brace adjustment”. She waited in his office for an hour before he could see her. Katie did a lot of math homework this evening.

This evening I started tackling the boxes that have been in my bedroom for “ages” (it seems). While I went through them in the living room my wife ran Roomba on the floors. I’ve decided to throw a lot of the books I had planned on keeping out. My wife said that she would take them to our neighborhood library box down the road in case some of our neighbors might like them.
