Day #5135 (Sat., Jan. 27, 2024) – Sleepover Time!
My wife took the kids to viola/violin practice this morning, then to the Hillsborough Sportsplex for ice skating class. They met up with Leah, Katie’s classmate, who is also taking ice skating lessons.
Bobby was not feeling well so they dropped him off home before going to Trader Joe’s, etc. for supplies for the sleepover that Katie is having tonight. I rushed home from Panera Bread to tend to Bobby.
Ethan is not allowed to play online with Bobby on the weekends anymore. We’re not totally sure why, but he has been grounded before for being disrespectful to his grandmother. Perhaps his parents have been noticing his behavior is different after a lot of online play. Having said that, perhaps they just want more family time.
At 6 pm this evening Tinsley and Leah arrived for a sleepover. You can see the sleeping arrangements in Katie’s room in the photo to the left. We ordered Papa John’s Pizza for dinner. Tinsley likes everything on her pizza and Leah likes pepperoni. Tinsley also loves Oreos I found out. The girls watched the movie “Dune” and there were some giggles about the fact that Katie likes “Timothée Chalamet”, who stars in this movie. The girls were up till close to midnight as I could hear them giggling in Katie’s bedroom before falling off to sleep.
