Day #5137 (Mon., Jan. 29, 2024) – Starbucks Sandwich
Bobby is home sick today as the doctor diagnosed him with Strep Throat yesterday. He didn’t have a fever today, so he will probably be able to go to school tomorrow.
I picked up Katie at Phillips this afternoon. We went to Starbucks for Daddy/Daughter Chat Day #8. She had a cold tea and a ham and cheese on a croissant sandwich (see photo to the right). I had a gingerbread almond milk “hot” chai, but since I’m trying to stay away from sugar I brought it home to my wife after a few sips. Once we picked up our Starbucks order we, as usual, drive around looking at “rich” houses. We ended up in Durham!
Bobby felt good for most of the day (no doubt because of the medication he is on). He even got to play with Ethan online for a bit. He felt bad this evening though so my wife and I have doubts that he will be well enough for school tomorrow.
I’m gradually getting to the boxes in the living room. Throwing out some books, packing up others in boxes, effectively getting organized.
