Day #5142 (Sat., Feb. 3, 2024) – Anime Figure
My wife took the kids to viola/violin class this morning. Katie didn’t want to go to ice skating lessons this morning, so when the notice came through that they were cancelled today she was attributing it to her “manifestations”… 🙂
Ethan’s back to playing online today. I thought that he could no longer play on the weekends? My wife thinks that because he was sick yesterday his parents felt bad for him, and gave him a bit of a break today.
I was off to Aldi this afternoon for some supplies. As I got out of the car, I noticed something glistening in the distance on the parking lot. As I approached, I could see that it was multicolored and thought it might be some sort of a wrapper. It turned out to be a little cartoon character (see photo to the right). I showed it Bobby when I got home, and he said it looked like an anime figure. I asked him if he wanted it, and he did, so at least it was a useful little item to bend over and pick up.
The toilet in our main bathroom starting to leak later today. As it turns out, one of the washers inside the tank is pretty old and has lost it’s seal. I used some silicon that we had lying around the house on it and it appears to be doing it’s job. Time will tell.
