Day #5146 (Wed., Feb. 7, 2024) – Oliva More Than Taylor
I dropped Bobby off at Glenwood this morning. He didn’t have his CD player this morning as he’s being “punished” for not paying attention in school these past few days. He loves his music and told me that he loves Olivia Rodrigo and not so much Taylor Swift.
I picked up Katie after school today and we went for a drive to Starbucks to pick up a coffee for me and a tea and sandwich for her. We ended up at Southern Village for a trip around the various homes afterward.
I picked up Bobby at Spence’s Farm just before 6 pm this evening and the place was deserted (see photo to the left). I was to the barn (see photo to the right) and not a sound, but that is where they were. I was to later find out that they were with the rabbits and were quiet as they were trying to calm them down.
On the drive home this evening Bobby was very excited to see his CD player in the bag with his pizza for the drive home. His mother decided that he deserved a bit of a reward as we got a good report from Ms. Hatley, his teacher. Here’s what she said in her email today: “He was very focused and kind in my class today.”.
