Day #5154 (Thu., Feb. 15, 2024) – Staring With Charlie!
I took Bobby to school this morning and went to Panera Bread afterward for a “Cup o’ Joe”.
My wife picked up Bobby at the bus stop this afternoon. Katie went to the library with some school friends (they have a special room for teens). My wife went to pick her up later in the afternoon. Tomorrow Katie plans to go to Dunkin Donuts, which is just a little past the library, with Lean and Tinsley after school. My wife will then take them to Barnes and Nobles after that. My only “kid job” tomorrow, after taking Bobby to school, will be taking him to sparring class in the evening.
I took Bobby to martial arts class tonight. There were only a few people in class, and Master Joe makes them sit on the mat (see photo to the right) and stretch rather than allowing them to run around on the mats like Master Choi did. Kinda sad actually… . He didn’t give out stripes after class today, but did pass out cards to “Invite A Friend” to a martial arts class. Equally sad… The place has gone downhill since Master Choi left.
Bobby really likes Charlie, one of the instructors at the dojo. He wanted to stay after class so that he could have a “staring” session with him.
