Day #5158 (Mon., Feb. 19, 2024) – Hooking The Gold Chain
Bobby’s wrist was hurting so we kept him home from school today. He had a great 2 1/2 hour nap in the afternoon. He’s learned how to sip cereal as it’s so hard for him to eat it with a spoon now. You can see him relaxing on the couch in the photo to the left…arm cast raised on a pillow.
My wife took Katie to the orthodontist this afternoon. They hooked the gold chain that they put in her month in December up to her tooth that is below the gums so that it will come out properly.
Katie failed her science test the other day and does not want to redo it. According to my wife, you can redo any test that you fail, as this is the law, at least in this particular case. I’m trying to get from Katie what the test is about, but from what I can ascertain it’s mostly informational, such as which are the inert gases, and stuff along those lines. Once she gets into high school, the chemistry will involve moles and grams, and calculations, and SP3 orbital paths, and stuff like that… or at least that’s the way it was when I was in high school almost 50 years ago! Yikes!
