Day #5160 (Wed., Feb. 21, 2024) – Bobby Sings!
I drove Bobby to school today and picked him up at the bus stop this evening. He told me that Anan, his Indian classmate (the first person he met at Glenwood) offered to help him if he needed anything. What a nice girl. They had French toast for lunch today, and Bobby said that it was quite a challenge to balance the tray. Tomorrow he plans to have only his friends sign the “temporary cast” that he now has on his wrist. He will get everyone to sign the “more permanent cast” once it goes on.
My wife picked Katie up at school today. Katie didn’t get her grades back for the make up test she did.
Katie sure loves the swing that I put up in the front yard a few years ago. She will swing on it and think about her problems and issues, rain or shine, hot or cold!
My wife took Bobby to Glenwood this evening for a Chinese Festival concert. He sang in only one group song. I guess it was quite an unorganized affair. You can see Bobby with the various Chinese items at the entrance in the photo to the left. The new jacket my wife bought him for his new cast is quite huge, but the benefit is that he can put the sleeve over his cast.
