Day #5181 (Wed., Mar. 13, 2024) – Die-Cast Helicopter

We skipped breakfast this morning.

Amanda’s real estate friend showed us some properties today. They were:

1) Sea Lion – Beautiful house. Katie loved it. The property had no light so foilage like a terrarium. It would be hard to have a garden and grow things here.

2) Mayfair – What a dump! Trailer park nearby.

3) Anderton Road – Man was losing his property as he could not afford to buy out his divorcing wife. Kids live in the trailer for $300 per month. The house was dark and had ants.

On the way home we stopped off at the “Air Museum” and picked up a die-cast helicopter for Bobby (see photo to the left).

We stopped off at the RBC but they are not able to open a bank account for us as I have one at HSBC which will morph into an RBC account at the end of March…

We stopped off at Tim Horton’s for dinner. Katie had the chicken noodle soup. My wife and I had the chili.

This evening we went to the “Real Canadian Super Store” for groceries. They have Vachon cakes and we picked up some Joe Louis cakes for me, and as a gift for Dzenen.
