Day #22 (Mon., Jan. 25, 2010) – Curtain Butterflies
6:00am – Three week old little Katie is up and having breakfast. My wife and I are up and trying to stay awake… 🙂 It sure sounds like Katie enjoys her meals. She is moaning “hmmm” as she eats.
I’m sooo tired. My wife is too. Even when I try to sleep if little Katie is “squeaking” and “chirping” I cannot seem to relax enough to sleep. I keep thinking that she will be crying any minute.
My wife put some butterflies on the curtain over the changing table. Here’s a picture. Little Katie likes to look in the direction of the window when she is being changed. I think it might be the light that attracts her. Now she will have something to look at as well.
Another walk in the stroller for little Katie today. This time she made her way down past the lake where the ducks are swimming. Like my wife mentioned, it will be nice when she is old enough to appreciate the ducks. Not sure how much the ducks are going to appreciate her…
11:15pm – I just changed little Katie’s diaper. She seems much more animated and conversational now than she used to be. The size one diapers that she is wearing now give her more room as well.
