Day #5194 (Tue., Mar. 26, 2024) – Tree Branch Down
Bobby is home sick. Katie went to school.
I took out the tree saw this afternoon and took down the huge branch over our driveway (see photo to the left). We need to have the driveway clear as if the moving trucks are scratched or damaged we will have to pay for it.
The Panera Bread internet is still down. It’s been down since Saturday.
I picked up Katie after school today and we had Daddy/Daughter Day #144. We drove to Starbucks and Katie had a Caramel Macchiato. She thought that since it was sweet this would offset the coffee taste. Wrong! She used four packets of sugar that I put in the van’s glove box a while back and this was still not sweet enough for her. Lesson learned.
I went to Aldi for groceries but I could not find a parking spot so I will need to come back. I ended up at the Mariakakis Fine Food & Wine, nearby, where I picked up some Dolmas since Trader Joe’s has been out of them for quite a while.
