Day #5200 (Mon., Apr. 1, 2024) – April Fools!
The photo to the left shows the note that I “planned” to put on Bobby’s bedroom door early this morning before he woke up. It’s April Fools today! Alas, he was already awake as I entered the room. His mother also found the note later today, so the “trick” was spoiled. I asked him if he wanted to prank Katie but he said I should do it as he could not stop laughing. I told Katie that I saw two opossums in the basement, and she fell for it, but then said that it was possible as the mother opossum could have had a baby.
I made some “Corn on the Cobb” in the air fryer this afternoon.
My wife filled out a lot of forms in regards to importing a car into Canada today. We also got a quote back from the moving company, they want $28,000 to move our stuff to Courtenay. Ouch! Alas, we did negotiate $30,000 more on the price of our house than we expected, so this will cover the cost.
Bobby played his violin for the first time today in weeks! It so inspired Katie that she took out her viola and practiced as well. Maybe they need a nice “Lefty” Gibson Les Paul “Standard” in burgundy sunburst to accompany them… 🙂 Â
