Day #5201 (Tue., Apr. 2, 2024) – Downpayment!

My wife took Katie to viola class this morning while I stayed home with Bobby. I made him two hot dogs for lunch, and then two more later on in the day.
The family is on “Pins & Needles” waiting for the banks to open up in Courtenay to see if our downpayment went through. We were elated when Amanda texted that it had! We were later to find out that this downpayment went through on Thursday. No idea why they didn’t tell us back then and let us not agonize over this during the weekend!
We are planning our driving route to Port Angeles now, and the various “pit stops” along the way.
