Day #5204 (Fri., Apr. 5, 2024) – Katie Enrolls In Guitar
Bobby had his first violin lesson since his cast removal today. Katie went along for her viola lesson as well.
Katie picked out the classes that she will be taking in Courtenay this morning. One of her electives is guitar (see photo to the right), so she will be starting to learn this new instrument next year. She already knows how to read notes, so she will do great! When I get to Courtenay and set up my music studio maybe she will be on one of my albums… 🙂
I trimmed some more branches in the driveway this afternoon. There is this one branch that is a bit out of reach of my cutter. I wonder if the “Little Giant Platform Ladder” that is coming on Sunday is what I need to do the trick?Â
This evening Bobby and I watched a bit of the “Penn & Teller” Magic Bullet Routine, and some of the “Masked Magician” on the television in the living room. We started off our tv watching session with a food video, and they mentioned “Bone Marrow”, so I explained what that was to Bobby and how it is so useful in curing certain diseases.
Danica had a sleepover this evening. Katie went, with the idea of sleeping over, but had second thoughts so I came and got her. She told me on the drive home that there was a knitting needle on the floor and her bedroom was kinda messy.
