Day #5206 (Sun., Apr. 7, 2024) – Barnes & Nobles
Katie met up with Leah and Tinsley at Barnes & Nobles this afternoon. They went to Tinsley’s house afterward and watched “Percy Jackson” on Disney+. Tinsley’s mom told my wife that anyone who gets Katie as a friend is really lucky.
My “Little Giant Platform Ladder” arrived via Amazon this afternoon. They needed to have someone here to greet the truck, possibly because it was so huge, or possibly because it was so expensive? At any rate, it came in one package, and is easy to operate and move. It will be a great way to put gyprock on the garage in Courtenay. The only “small” issue is that there was no netting for the platform. The guys on the truck had no idea about it, so perhaps it was never shipped with it? Or perhaps it got lost in transit? At any rate, we contacted the company to see about a replacement.
My wife purchased some “glasses” to view the eclipse that will happen around 3pm tomorrow. Katie’s class will be taking them outside to view it. We’re thinking of picking Bobby up at school so that he will be home on time and not “trapped” on some school bus goose chase…
