Day #5213 (Sun., Apr. 14, 2024) – Chapel Hill Fire Department
My wife picked up Katie this morning from Tinsley’s house. I guess that the sleep over went quite well. Cecilia was there, but Katie and her did not talk. They watched “The Princess Bride”, the classic movie from the 80s.
My wife and I used our new Little Giant Platform Ladder to remove all the remaining branches from our driveway (see photo to the left). Nice to get that done.
There was a branch dangling below the rest, so we called up the Chapel Hill Fire Department for advice. They sent out a truck and one of the guys said that it looks like an old land line from AT&T. We plan to call them tomorrow to see if they can raise it.
My wife and I spent a lot of time packing up our belongings today. Unfortunately we will be leaving a lot of nice stuff behind, but what can you do. When you are travelling thousands of miles it costs a lot to ship it, and there is too much hassle and little time to sell it.
Bobby played online for most of the day, but said that he was sick in the PM. Hopefully he will be going to school tomorrow.
