Day #5219 (Sat., Apr. 20, 2024) – Katie’s Viola Performance
Katie had her viola performance at Miss Patricia’s house this morning (see photo to the left). After the performance Miss Patricia announced that we will be leaving for Courtenay and got rather emotional about it.
After Katie’s performance there was a group class, and we then had the cupcakes that I picked up at Harris-Teeter last night. At this point I gave Katie the flowers that I picked up at Aldi.
We took two cars to the performance, so my wife took Katie to ice skating class and I took Bobby home. I offered to make Bobby lunch when we got home but he was not hungry. Loaded up on cupcakes no doubt. Incidentally we took the extra cupcakes home with us and the kids polished them all off by evening.
This evening I went to Aldi for groceries. Katie was wanting to pick up some candy for one of her friends, but they didn’t have anything. I will take her to the Dollar Store tomorrow so that she can pick these up.
I was up WAY into the night and in fact early morning hours packing boxes tonight. Batman came down from the cat tree and sat on the Lazy Boy with me at one point.
