Day #5225 (Fri., Apr. 26, 2024) – Katie’s First House!
Both kids are home sick today.
My wife and I stopped off at our lawyer’s office to our lawyer’s office this morning to sign the documents for our house sale. Our lawyer, Kendall, has an old station wagon from 1993! We talked a bit of nostalgia about trips to Canada in a station wagon back in the 70s.
The lawyer wanted us to hand deliver these documents to the seller’s lawyer, so I made the trip to Raleigh in my Camry. On the way back home I meandered through the ole’ Cary neighborhood and saw Katie’s first house (see photo to the left). Bobby’s first house was the one we currently live in, in Chapel Hill, but he has seen the house in Cary from time to time.
My wife is starting to get sick as well… Ugh… And me with a bad back. We can’t afford to get sick as it’s “crunch time” for our move to Canada!
