Day #5227 (Sun., Apr. 28, 2024) – Ethan’s Birthday Party
My wife packed up a lot of stuff and took it all to Arnesa’s place courtesy of our van this morning.
This afternoon Bobby went to a Virtual Reality place with Ethan to celebrate his birthday. Ethan’s mom picked Bobby up and dropped him off afterward, which saved us time for more packing and such. There was a bit of a mad scramble in the morning to find some “non” Christmassy wrapping paper to wrap Ethan’s gift in.
Speaking of the VR Reality place, Bobby liked it so much that he wants a VR headset now. Cal, Ethan’s friend was there as well (see photo to the right). No Lucia as she is Bobby’s friend. As you can see, Ethan didn’t wear a mask as it affects his enjoyment of the game.
It’s too bad that all these activities involve a screen. It would be so much better for the kids if there was more activity, like with the sports and “Hide & Seek” and other games that we used to play as children.
My wife and Katie spent a lot of time going over the things in Katie’s room this afternoon. Now to pack them up. The moving truck will be here in a week and a half.
